CLIMATE TECH BUILDING SYSTEMSClimateBuilt
Hardware for concrete · two U.S. patents

HARDWARE THAT GOES INSIDE THE POUR.

ClimateBuilt, from Climate Tech Building Systems, is plastic hardware that sets inside the concrete forms a crew already owns: ties that arm a poured wall, and stay-in-place foam forms with their own rebar hardware for floors and roofs. Patented and engineered. Not yet manufactured.

CLIMATE TECH BUILDING SYSTEMSClimateBuilt
What it is
Plastic hardware that sets inside the concrete forms a crew already owns — ties for poured walls (Climate-Ties) and stay-in-place foam forms with rebar hardware for floors and roofs (Climate-Deck).
Protected
U.S. Patent 11,933,057 B2 (walls) and U.S. Patent 12,188,232 B2 (floors and roofs). Both granted.
Done · not yet
Patented and engineered. Not manufactured. On the walls, the plastics and the tie pull strength are not yet tested.
The ask
A manufacturing partner to tool it, test it and make it. alma@climatebuilt.com · 801-910-6365

TWO U.S. PATENTS

Inventor: Alma Jessop. Both granted. Read them in full on Google Patents.

WHERE IT STANDS

Said plainly.

Done

  • Patented — the two U.S. patents above.
  • Engineered and drawn.

Not yet

  • Not manufactured. Not for sale.
  • On the walls, two things are not yet tested: the plastics and the tie pull strength.

The finish

  • U-Stucco, the finish in the wall design, is tested and is a product. It has not yet been used on a job.

THE HARDWARE

What each part does on the pour. Every picture in this section is a render from the design drawings — none of it has been manufactured.

Walls — Climate-Ties

The ties are cut to ride the aluminum and steel forming systems already on the job — one profile for each — and they cast into the wall. What sticks out is a serrated spike that takes whatever head the job needs: a flat T-plate, a channel that a metal stud threads onto, a saddle for an AAC or treated-lumber stud, a masonry tie. Center ties hold the spikes from both faces; the corner tie closes the corner.

Floors and roofs — Climate-Deck

A foam form, hot-wire cut from stock billet — no molds — that stays in place as the insulation after the pour. It carries its own rebar hardware: the rebar tree holds the beam cage, the chair seats the bars at depth, the vertical tie rides the form edge, and one pin wedge locks it. Three form families: CD-18, CD-24, and CD-24CF for commercial tilt-up roofs.

Precast and tilt-up

The same family does precast. Saddle ties carry the rebar in panels that go into tilt walls, and the rebar chairs are drawn to stand up when the panel tilts.

LOOKING FOR A MANUFACTURING PARTNER

The design and the patents are done. The next step is a manufacturer to tool it, test the plastics and the tie pull strength, and make it. If that is you — or you know who it is — talk to Alma. This opens your own mail app or phone; nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Sister company: Mirror Engineer — estimating software, from the same founder.
